Warp speed changes are fine.
It also means that interceptors will have to hold ships for a hell of a lot longer until the rest of the gang lands on grid. I have a feeling that quite a few interceptor pilots won't take this into account until they are already in a pod. ;) |

More often than not, the rest of the gang will wait outside of the system ready to jump once the interceptor calls that they have their target pointed.
Less chance that the target will instantly get the hell out of dodge when they only see +1 in local. ;) |
